PUNJAB PUBLIC SCHOOL
KANWAR PREET SINGH , Architect has been associated with
us for the past one and a half years. He has designed and
supervised the construction of student’s Mess of junior section of
this school with a covered area of approx. 9000 sq. ft. and approx.
cost of Rs. 30 lacs. The project was awarded on the basis of
Architectural Design competition held in Sept.96.
The design of the building not only fulfils our functional
requirements , it has very good aesthetic appearance . The building
is prefect in all respects architecturally and structurally besides
being economical . As the mess building was added to the existing
school campus , at this later stage , it has been designed using
features of the old school buildings blended with modern
architectural style.
The kind of involvement , he has showin each stage of the
project is appreciable. In addition while working as lecturer in
Deptt. of Architecture, G . N . D . U . Amritsar, he got a mural
designed for this building by organizing a competition amongst
the budding students of the deptt. The selected mural has now
been executed at site under his supervision and guidance.
He is an upcoming architect with very bright future in store
for him. He is very sincere to the job , hardworking & methodical
in his work
